Collection: Martha Ratcliff

I’ve admired Martha's work for such a long time, so it feels incredibly special to welcome her to Munks & Me. Her joyful illustrations, playful use of colour and wonderful imagination make her the perfect addition to our growing design library.

Martha’s illustration journey began over 12 years ago, creating greetings cards for friends and family. After graduating from Leeds University with a BA in Art and Design in 2016, she spent four years designing for some of the UK’s leading greetings card companies, while gradually building her own freelance illustration business alongside it.

In 2021, Martha took the leap to pursue illustration full-time and hasn’t looked back. Since then, her artwork has appeared across everything from cards, books and diaries to gift wrap, calendars and even socks.

Constantly inspired by the world around her, Martha’s work is full of personality and designed to spark the imagination. Her impressive client list includes Sainsbury’s, Paperchase, Waitrose, Estée Lauder, Hallmark, Morrisons and UK Greetings.
