What’s the difference?
While both murals and repeat wallpapers are designed to transform a space, the key difference lies in how they’re created and how they’re used on the wall.
Wall Murals
Murals are custom-made to fit your exact wall dimensions. The design is scaled and printed as a continuous artwork, then divided into numbered panels for installation.
Murals are ideal when you want:
- A statement wall or feature
- Artwork that flows seamlessly from edge to edge
- A more illustrative, storytelling feel
- A tailored fit for walls with unique dimensions
Because murals are made specifically for your wall, they create a truly bespoke result.
Wallpaper
Wallpaper has a repeat pattern that repeats both vertically and horizontally. It is printed on standard rolls (70cm x 10m)
Wallpaper is perfect when you want:
- A cohesive look across an entire room
- A timeless, pattern-led design
- Flexibility to wallpaper one wall or all four
- A more traditional wallpaper application
Repeat designs are ordered by roll and calculated using wall height and width.
Which should I choose?
If you’re looking for a single feature with maximum impact, a mural is often the best choice.
If you’d prefer a softer, all-over look, wallpaper is a beautiful and practical option.
Still unsure? Ordering a sample is a great way to compare scale, colour, and finish before committing
